Alcona County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff's Office, the trial courts in Harrisville, the Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center, the Michigan Department of Corrections, and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. We built this private resource to make that split easier to understand. It directs readers to the government portal, records counter, mailing address, or phone line that actually holds each type of record.

Why We Built This Site

Michigan offers several public access routes, yet each answers a different question. The Alcona County Sheriff's Office creates local incident and arrest records. District and circuit clerks keep court filings and dispositions. Michigan State Police runs ICHAT for public statewide criminal-history searches, while MDOC operates OTIS and MSP manages PSOR. Alcona County also uses a written FOIA route when no dedicated portal exists. We bring those official channels, fees, office details, and request steps into one clear reference.
